Lagree by the lake is a 50-minute full-body workout that focuses on muscular endurance, strength, and flexibility. It strengthens, tightens, and sculpts through slow and controlled movements. It’s tough on muscles but gentle on joints. Imagine the best parts of strength training, cardio and Pilates in one workout; that’s the Lagree Method.
Prepare to shake, sweat, and feel the burn the following day! The class is conducted on one of Lagree Fitness’ latest machines, the Miniformer Pro (don’t worry, it packs a mega punch).


For your first class
Grip Socks Are Required
Grip Socks are mandatory for class for both safety and sanitary reasons. If you forget yours, don’t worry, we have them for rent!
Arrive early
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled class start time. This will allow enough time to sign forms, purchase any add-ons for class (such as water/socks), and receive your introduction to the Minpro. As we’re a small shop, we have a zero-minute late policy for new clients. If you did not receive a demo of the machine, we cannot let you in for safety reasons and will ask you to reschedule.
Listen to your body and have fun
While the moves are slow and controlled, Lagree is all about quick transitions between blocks to keep the intensity high. Take breaks and hydrate when needed. You know your body best. And last but not least, have fun; we’re up north for a good time. Leave the seriousness at the door!

Yes, our classes are designed for all levels of fitness, and our instructors are trained to offer modifications or progressions to meet you where you are. This is a space where everybody is welcome 🙂
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to allow time to select your machine, use the washroom and get ready for class. We always give a demo of the machine and the leg block 5 minutes before class begins. If you have not taken a class at lagree by the lake before and you miss the demo, we cannot let you stay in the class for safety reasons.
To book a class, you will need an account and a valid credit balance. Click here to sign up on our website. Drop-ins will not be accommodated, as waivers must be signed before class.
No! Although it is a common misconception. While Lagree uses a machine with springs (similar to Reformer Pilates), the method incorporates strength training moves and body-building principles. We focus on slow, controlled movements and progressive load to build strength. Trust us, if you like Pilates, you’re going to love Lagree.
Our cancellation window is 12 hours before class to retain your credit. Please use your online account to cancel or reschedule classes. This window is designed to ensure that anyone who is waitlisted has the opportunity to join the class. If you cancel after 12 hours, your class credit will be deducted from your account.
We are located at 2505 Windermere Rd, Windermere, ON. Parking available in front of building and along Windermere road.
If you have not taken a class at lagree by the lake before, you will not be permitted in class.
If you have taken a class before, you will receive a 5-minute grace period. As this is a small-business studio, we do not have a front desk to monitor late check-ins. The studio door will be closed after the 5-minute mark. This is not only for your safety, but to minimize disruptions for other clients in the zone! We understand life happens, and will re-credit your account as a one-time offer. Late cancellations after that will result in a credit deduction from your account.
You sure do! Grip socks are required for all classes, with no exceptions. This is for sanitary and safety reasons. We offer complimentary socks to first-time visitors, and after that, you can rent, purchase, or bring your own. If you are not wearing them, we will request that you rent or purchase them before class.
Yes! We offer modifications for pregnancy and post-pregnancy. Please consult your doctor to ensure you are cleared for exercise before taking our classes.
